What are 3 words people use to describe you?

Creative, tenacious, loyal

What are you most grateful for?

The opportunities that life has given me.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

Keep the focus on the wins and not the losses.  Consider the losses wins because of the knowledge and experience gained.

What gets you excited about life?

Life, in general, is exciting, isn’t it? Every day I get to wake up and face a new day that brings a new adventure. Every day I can learn, grow and better myself.

How do you define success?

I believe success comes from strength and dedication from within. Determination for success cannot be swayed due to failure but only sharpened.

What is your proudest achievement?

Getting to marry my best friend.

What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

Negative people will infect all the positive energy around them like a virus. Now, I can usually spot that virus and make sure to take precautions.

What was the best book you’ve read and why?

The Old Man and the Sea is my favorite book. When I was a young girl reading this I’ll never forget how inspired I was on the pure dedication and determination that someone could have to gain success. This still sticks with me today.

Cathryn (Cat) is an Office Manager with The BluePrint. Her primary responsibilities are handling each case from start to finish. Cat will ensure the client experience is consistent and high touch from sales to case implementation.  She is the go-to resource for all things sales (illustrations, product knowledge, sales ideas) and case management (status updates on pending business) while coordinating with the rest of your BluePrint team.

Cat has been in the insurance business since 2002. Cat has worked with other insurance and annuity groups, but what sets her apart is that she spent over eight years with an independent financial advisor. Because of this experience, she truly understands what advisors do, how they communicate with clients and can help them deliver a comprehensive client experience.

Cat is married and has four kids (2 sons and 2 stepsons.) Cat’s passion is music. She loves listening, playing, watching and creating music.
