What are you most grateful for? 

I am most grateful for is my Dad.

What gets you excited about life? 

Introducing my 10-year old son to the world, to experiences, to pursuits, to people.

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

“You are, the kindness you share, with the world. Be somebody’s millionaire each day.”

How do you define success? 

I define success as providing my family with 110% of what they need, on 75% of what I net.

What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

When your focus is strictly on advancing up the ladder, the problem is, even when you achieve success, and foster legions of legacy outside supporters, one may still end up left without an internal constituency.

What was the best book you’ve read and why?

The Battle of Midway by Craig Symonds and Leonardo DaVinci by Walter Isaacson. The former choice because at the Battle of Midway, so much was at stake, the U.S. Navy was on the ropes, and yet somehow divine providence plus innovative science, intervened in so many astonishing ways as to truly make one a believer. As for DaVinci, I always knew his name, had never contemplated a full accounting of his jaw-dropping accomplishments. But what earns this book such stature was the inspiration I drew from DaVinci’s example. His genius had little to do with natural-born talent. His genius had everything to do with preserving childlike curiosity, practicing keen observation, demonstrating unique intellectual humility, and possessing a fearlessness about taking on all manner of different intellectual / artistic / engineering / inventive pursuits.

Jordan’s background as a wholesaler and financial advisor makes him a unique asset to comprehensive advisors and RIAs. His approach is to be transparent, and authentic. He understands the importance of asking the right questions, delivering the right solution and having a service mentality.

Jordan started his career in financial services in 1994. He began his career as a Futures and Options Trader in the EuroDollar pit of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In 1997, he joined the Capital Group / American Funds Distributors (AFD) in Los Angeles, where he worked in Marketing Strategy and New Product Development. In 2002, Jordan was promoted to Regional Vice President, managing the Upper Midwest and Western U.S. Regions for AFD’s Retirement Income business. In 2007, Jordan joined Lincoln Financial as Retirement Wholesaler covering Los Angeles and Orange County. In 2010, he moved over to Goldman Sachs, Wholesaling Mutual Funds, SMAs, and Capital Markets Consulting to HNW and Institutional clients. Upon completing his MBA at the University of Michigan in 2014, Jordan joined Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Advisor, before later heading the Western U.S. for Milliman Consulting, specializing in Managed Risk and Structured Product Strategies.

Jordan is from Pasadena, graduated from Cornell University and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He currently lives in Sherman Oaks, with his wife Devrie and son Xabi. Jordan is an avid reader, particularly of Military History, Behavioral Economics, and International Soccer. In his leisure time, Jordan enjoys coaching youth athletics, camping, restaurants, and attending college football games. He’s a dedicated supporter of Polytechnic and Sequoyah Schools, as well as committed fundraiser for Special Operations Warriors Foundation, the Israeli startup community, and ForeFront.
